Our highly qualified heating engineers are able to offer boiler servicing in Aylesbury for most makes and models of boilers, and as we are Gas Safe and OFTEC accredited, you know you can rely on us. We always advisable to have your boiler serviced every year to ensure that it is in full working order.
An annual boiler service includes the inspection of your boiler and controls to ensure that they are operating safely. We also check for corrosion and leaks and will remove your boiler casing to check the functioning of its main components. Our boiler service is available on most main brands including Worcester Bosch, Grant, and Vaillant, and take approximately 1 and a half hours. We will strive to repair any faults during the service, however, repairs over the 1.5 hours allocated to the service will be chargeable per hour. Boiler services start from £140 ex. VAT and parts.
During the service, a full strip-down and clean of the heat exchanger will be carried out and all the flame failure devices will be checked. A combustion test is carried out to check that the boiler is operating at its peak performance and to also check emissions. Your Surab heating engineer will leave a checklist with you that will provide you with all of the relevant information that you need for the safety of your boiler.
We would always recommend having a C0² alarm fitted on any gas appliance, and it is mandatory for open fires and log-burning fires in England. It is also recommended to have your boiler service carried out in the summer or late summer months. This prepares your boiler for the winter months, reducing the chance of it breaking when the cold hits.

These contracts are offered depending on the age and condition of your boiler. An annual boiler maintenance contract will ensure any manufacturer’s warranties and policies that apply to your boiler remain valid. Our highly qualified heating engineers complete annual servicing to ensure your boiler runs perfectly. We will inspect the boiler to ensure the main components are fully functioning, we will also inspect the controls for safety as well as ensuring there is no evidence of corrosion and leaks.
Additionally, if you encounter heating, plumbing or boiler-related problems, this contract will cover one free call out per year for gas boilers, and two free call outs per year for oil boilers regarding boiler heating and/or plumbing related problems (during office hours Mon-Fri).
