Power Flushing works by pumping water at a much higher velocity than usual through the heating system, to loosen harmful corrosion deposits. This process is made more effective by specialist cleansing chemicals and an instantaneous flow reversal device which creates turbulence in the radiators and encourages the removal of debris.

Once loosened the unwanted debris is removed from the system with clean water. At the end of the end of the flushing process, the system contains fresh water, and can resume its normal operation within minutes, depending on the size of property. 

Symptoms of system corrosion

Symptoms of corrosion include cold radiator panels, blocked radiators, boiler noise, a long recovery time after drawing off hot water, and inadequate water supply and failure of pumps, radiators and valves.

A PowerFlush can restore circulation and efficiency to the heating system by removing these undesirable products. It purges them from the system and replaces aggressive water with clean water, chemically treated with Systemsafe-DM corrosion inhibitor to prevent future problems.
